Arbor Day

Arbor Day is a nationally celebrated event that highlights the importance of trees to our environment. National Arbor Day is celebrated each year on the last Friday of April. Minnesota also celebrates Arbor Day on the last Friday in April, while individual cities celebrate on a day of their choosing. 

The 2014 Maple Grove Arbor Day festival was held Saturday, May 3rd, at the Maple Grove Community Center.

  • Speakers on subjects such as Tree Inventory Project, tree selection and composting
  • Local Artist Barb Boulka teaching children to paint
