The weather is finally getting into the comfortable range. The mid 90’s sure can cut a person’s energy level. School is back is session so maybe there are cheers from some moms and dads and groans from some kids. Be alert when driving as you never know when a youngster or even an oldster like me will pop out into the street.
Great news for the City of Maple Grove!! CNN/Money magazine selected our community as #22 in the top 100 best places to live in America for our population category of 50,000 to 100,000. Money Magazine does extensive surveying of all cities across the U.S., and we are grateful for the honor.
In coming up with the list and rankings, they examine a city’s credit rating (Maple Grove is a fantastic AAA), crime rates, housing stock for all income levels, quality of the educational system, local government stability, medical services, growth management, businesses, involvement by citizens through various boards and commissions, quality of life/recreational activities– just to name a few of the criteria. This is not an easy achievement, and our selection is a wonderful testimonial to the city. We can all be proud as we are compared to thousands of communities across America. Thanks to everyone for making Maple Grove a great place to live and work!

It is with gratitude to the staff, the Council, and the many volunteer boards that make Maple Grove an enviable place to live. We do not get such recognition easily, we have to earn it. Thanks to all of our citizens for making this a community of which we can be justly proud.
Bob, thanks for your kind comments. We do have a wonderful City.
