We look forward to the blog being another avenue to interact with and keep residents and businesses current on various topics and areas of interest.

City staff will be posting regularly on the blog, addressing a variety of topics. Please note the blog does not replace other means of communications, but it is an additional source. We will continue to rely on public meetings, webcasts of City Council and Planning Commission meetings, City website, City newsletter, and other media sources such as the Osseo-Maple Grove Press, Cable Channel 12, and Maple Grove Patch.

New business activity

Welcome to Becker Furniture World on their grand opening in the former Target building on County Road 30. Nadia’s Cupcakes will open soon in The Fountains at Arbor Lakes. Cupcakes are music to my ears, but not to my waistline (maybe they have sugar-free). The Planning Commission just approved a Chick-fil-a restaurant to be located by TGI Friday’s, and this will be coming to the City Council for final review. No problem figuring out that menu. Info on current and future businesses will more than likely find its way onto this blog. It’s a great way to provide updates!
