We look forward to the blog being another avenue to interact with and keep residents and businesses current on various topics and areas of interest.

City staff will be posting regularly on the blog, addressing a variety of topics. Please note the blog does not replace other means of communications, but it is an additional source. We will continue to rely on public meetings, webcasts of City Council and Planning Commission meetings, City website, City newsletter, and other media sources such as the Osseo-Maple Grove Press, Cable Channel 12, and Maple Grove Patch.

Maple Grove Days fast approaching

Maple Grove Days is fast approaching starting with a number of kickoff activities on Thursday, July 12, including the Pierre Bottineau parade. Residents have or will soon receive a nice Maple Grove Days event booklet with the schedule of many exciting activities. It’s a fun time of the year for all!

Throughout the summer enjoy events at the Community Center, such as the every Thursday Farmers Market, and take advantage of the outdoor pool, skate park, playground, picnic pavilion and sand volleyball court. The Town Green bandshell offers a wide variety of entertainment for all ages and interests.

The annual Relay For Life is coming up on Friday, July 20, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the Osseo Senior High School. This is a fun and very worthwhile American Cancer Society event to honor and remember those who lives have been touched by cancer.

Enjoy summer and especially all our City has to offer. Be safe!

I remember the time i was in Maple Grove with my family, it was exciting and we participated in allot of activities. Am looking forward to go back next year. Thanks for this post
