Weed and Tree Inspection

The City of Maple Grove Ordinance Code limits the height of weeds and grass to a maximum of eight inches.  It also enforces the state noxious weed ordinance.  Inspection Weeds_with_orange_cone.jpgis carried out in response to a complaint.  If a violation is found upon inspection, a notice is sent to the property owner and they are given ten days to comply.  If not complied with by the deadline, the City is authorized to cut the vegetation and charge $200 per hour with a minimum charge of 1/2 hour or $100.  Complaints or questions may be directed to the Public Works Department at 763-494-6370 or Email us.
