Voting and COVID-19 Q&A

The City of Maple Grove closely follows guidelines and recommendations provided by Hennepin County and the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State to prepare for elections in light of COVID. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) Recommendations for Election Polling Locations and the Minnesota Department of Health are two sources on which decisions and actions are based.

Maintaining safety

The city is doing everything it can to ensure a safe election season. Updates will appear on this page as conditions change. This website is the best way to track election news impacting Maple Grove.

The recommendation is to stay at home and vote by mail

To minimize direct contact with others, the CDC, Minnesota Secretary of State, and Hennepin County encourage you to vote by mail. All Minnesota voters are eligible to vote by mail. It's easy to vote by mail as long as you plan ahead a bit.

  • Apply online for your ballot
  • Your ballot will be sent to you by mail for the November General Election
