The City of Maple Grove has an opening on the Planning Commission. Membership consists of residents appointed to two-year terms by the City Council.
The Planning Commission helps implement city plans by making recommendations to the City Council on long-range planning issues as well as advising on matters related to enforcement of the zoning ordinance, city comprehensive plan, and zoning map. The commission also reviews all residential, commercial, and industrial development applications and holds all necessary public hearings.
The commission is staffed by the community and economic development director. This appointment will run through December 31, 2024. The group routinely meets on the 2nd and last Monday of each month.
