Boards and Commissions

The city has several vacancies to be filled on its boards and commissions.

Several City Council-appointed boards, committees and commissions serve the City of Maple Grove. These citizen commissions advise the City Council on a variety of issues. Information regarding current vacancies as well as contact details are provided below. To apply, fill out an application. When the application loads, click on the "fill & sign in Acrobat" tab in the upper right hand corner. Be sure to use the dropdown box to the left of each board and commission listed to rank your interest level in each. Once completed, you may print it to mail or save the .pdf to email it to the appropriate contact person.

  • The Planning Commission has one opening. Applications are accepted until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021, and should be directed to Joe Hogeboom, community and economic development director, at City of Maple Grove, 2800 Arbor Lakes Pkwy, Maple Grove MN 55369. 

  • The Arbor Committee has one opening. Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021 and should be directed to Jesse Corrow, Arbor Committee liaison, at City of Maple Grove, 12800 Arbor Lakes Pkwy, Maple Grove MN 55369.

  • The Lake Quality Commission (LQC) has three openings. Two of the openings are at-large positions, which means you are not required to live on one of the city's lakes to serve on the commission.  One opening is available for a representative on Pike Lake. Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021 and should be directed to Derek Asche, LQC liaison, at City of Maple Grove, 12800 Arbor Lakes Pkwy, Maple Grove MN 55369.
