Boards and Commissions

Lake Quality Commission vacancy

The City of Maple Grove currently has two openings on the city’s Lake Quality Commission.  Membership to this board is filled by nominations from the Mayor with confirmation by the City Council.  The twelve-member commission serves three year terms and serves at-large (this means you do not need to live on one of the City's lakes to serve) and focuses on activities on and near the water. These appointments will run through December 31, 2020.

Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, and should be directed to:
Rick Lestina, Lake Quality Commission Liaison, PO Box 1180, Maple Grove, MN  55311.

Several City Council-appointed boards, committees and commissions serve the City of Maple Grove. These citizen commissions advise the City Council on a variety of issues. When openings are available on a board/commission, notification will be made on the website, and the application will be posted here.

Meetings of the various boards and commissions are open to the public and can be found on the calendar.
