Market set up/take down:  A lot goes on behind the scenes to prepare for market day as well as to wrap things up when the Market closes, such as signage, tables, chairs, tents, information booth.  In addition, this volunteer will be available to assist vendors.  Commitment: 1-2 hours each Thursday or as your schedule allows.

Office help: Volunteers are occasionally needed to help prepare materials, promotional items, and host special farmers market-related events, such as our annual vendor meetings. Commitment varies with each of these unique opportunities. A typical "shift" would be about two hours during daytime hours during weekdays.

It is similar to the Adopt-a-Park program and open to schools, community groups, civic organizations, faith communities, businesses, families and individuals. A two-year commitment is required with cleaning to occur at least two times a year. Participating groups and individuals sign a simple agreement with the city. Bags are provided at no charge for the clean-ups; bags will be removed afterwards by the city. Signs are erected recognizing the adoptive group, business, or individual.

Please see our Adopt-a-Street map showing the roadway sections included in the program, as well as which streets are available or adopted.
