Music lovers are counting the days until Maple Grove’s first-ever live music festival at Central Park. Concert on The Lawn, September 14, 2019, will feature four bands on one stage. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. with music starting at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available at maplegrovemn.gov/event/thelawn General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate. Patrons are invited to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the afternoon and evening in Central Park. Seated VIP tickets are also available.
Festival openers are Kat Perkins, who has performed extensively in the Twin Cities and on NBC’s The Voice, plus high-octane rock ‘n’ rollers The 4onthefloor, playing bass drum-driven rock and blues.
New Power Generation features the music of Prince with special guest B. Slade. Gear Daddies will headline the concert with their Minnesota-influence brand of Americana/rock music.
