Hybrid Meeting Format
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Maple Grove Local Board of Appeal and Equalization Reconvene meeting has transitioned to a hybrid meeting format. This hybrid meeting format will allow the public to view and participate in the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting using a call-in process or in person at the Maple Grove Government Center on Thursday, April 22, at 7 p.m. The live meeting, meeting agendas and minutes of the meetings can be viewed at https://bit.ly/viewmaplegrovemtg. The Local Board of Appeal and Equalization Reconvene meeting can also be viewed live on Comcast Channel 16.
The public is invited to begin calling at 6:45 p.m. to get in the queue for the meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Callers should be prepared to be on hold until the Mayor opens the meeting to call in participants. At that point, Assessing Department staff will work through callers in the order they were received.

Purpose of the Meeting
The purpose of the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization is to consider the estimated market value and/or classification of your property for the 2021 assessment for taxes payable in 2022. The Board is not empowered to adjust property taxes.
At the Reconvene meeting, the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization will decide on matters related to 2021 property valuation and classification.
