In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, City roads within the City of Maple Grove shall be restricted to 5 ton, unless posted, during the period to be determined by the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation.
In the event the City Engineer determines that a road will have a restriction other than five (5) ton per axle or that the period shall be other than designated by the Department of Transportation, the applicable City roads shall be posted accordingly with a weight restriction sign.
Allowed weight and/or time variances will be established by the Maple Grove Streets Department and may fluctuate with weather and road conditions. A valid permit must be carried in each overweight vehicle while on posted roads.
