Highway 610 eastbound lane closures begin September 24
If you drive on Highway 610 through Maple Grove, you'll encounter single lane traffic on the eastbound side of the freeway between I-94 and Elm Creek Boulevard. MnDOT's month-long project to construct a concrete median barrier begins at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24. The eastbound highway will be restricted to a single lane 24 hours a day between I-94 and Elm Creek Boulevard so they can build a concrete center median barrier between the eastbound and westbound lanes of Hwy 610 over County Rd. 81 and BNSF Railroad Tunnel.
Travelers are encouraged to use an alternate route to avoid congestion.
Work is expected to be complete by the end of October, weather permitting.
