Public Notice - February 13th , 2021
Governor Walz has issued Executive Order 21.07.  This order is effective as of Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 12:00 pm (noon). Individuals and businesses throughout Minnesota must continue to comply with the provisions of Executive Order 21-01 except as modified or superseded by the amendments. All other provisions of Executive Order 21-01 remain in full force and has no end date at this time.

MAPLE GROVE COMMUNITY CENTER (Arena, Pool, Gym and Rentals)
As staff work through the details around restrictions the Community Center will begin opening to the public by reservation.  Please check the Community Center website sub pages for information on each area and to make a reservation.

What does the Maple Grove Parks & Recreation Department do?

  • Guides operational procedures and level of services.
  • Over 40 full time employees and hundreds of seasonal employees work to provide facilities, maintain parks and trails, and run recreation programs and community-wide events.
  • Operates the Community Center, Central Park, Town Green, and other parks and trails
  • Builds new parks and trails.
  • Manages natural open space in the community with the Public Works Department.


Mission Statement

The Parks and Recreation Board, through its employees, is committed to provide prompt, responsive and courteous customer service to the public in its quest to provide quality leisure opportunities through park and recreation facilities and services which meet the interest and needs of all City residents.
